The life of Heathie: March 2010

I had a spectacular birthday weekend! We had friday and monday off so it was a four day weekend and it was much needed. Friday we went to Our (mine and britts) little sisters schools womens day program. it was so cute! some of our students were also in it and they were so excited to see us. they just ran up to us after saying "teachel teachel you come!" one little boy was so excited and as he ran to us, his hood got caught on a doorknob and he fell backwards saying "OY!!! one second." then he gave us huge bear hugs. Then that day we went out with our amazing native friends Anya and katya. we then met up with our head teacher Amy and a native- Nikita. we went to the mall- dream town where they have in door ice skating, great pizza, life size pool that u use malets for instad of pool ssticks (obviously lol) after we went home and watched a movie which is a treat cause it rarely happens. then i talked to my brother stu at 1-2 am of my birthday. he gave me great advise right before christie sung to me in spanish haha. then i woke up at 8 am to talk to my family. my younger brother quinton gave me the ebst present! he whipped out his guitar and sung a song to me. it was so great. When i was finishing up britt ran in and said " DONT COME OUT!" when she finally let me out i went into the kitchen and it was so clean! our head teacher came over and her britt and my mama had made me blueberry banana ppancakes and blini with heated cinimon apples... SO GOOOOOOOOOOD. Yulia and Ilya (my siblings) made me presents and cards and my mama gave me a tia silk scarf that she got in tialand! i love it to death. especially since i have been wanting a scarf for forever. After breakfast we bummed around and then went lunch with katya, came home and had a james oliver marathon (love that man!) we wwatched raise your voice and then she's the man with our mama and it was so cute cause she was acting just like us over the cute gushy parts and getting way into it. oh and we baby sat both days! but my batteries died so i have no pictures of my birthday! on monday we went with Yaroslav, marina and two sister missionaries to the botanical gardens (that i went to before) to celebrate womens day and had even more fun than i did before (im sure cause britt was finally with me.) we then went to the institute building and watched movies and had pizza and played ukrainian uno skippo and spoons which is NOTHING like ours! the only similarities are the cards....
